Beer bottling and kegging

For those of you who were able to make it to the beer brewing demo, we're going to bottle and keg what we've made from our brew day. You'll get to bottle one and take home to try out what we've created. This is also a good time to talk and organize about future brewing days for those who either have their own equipment or would like to split the cost and assist on brewing more beer. If this is a difficult night for everyone, let me know and I will try to change it to something easier for everyone.

Good times! Tony, host with the most. Brian, great guitar playing. Kyle, most of the bottling work. Repeat with food and fire?

Had a lot of fun, and learned more than a thing or two. Thanks Tony for hosting!

Learned to bottle beer, it was educational! Had fun listening to the musically talented in the group too!

There was a small enough group to make this enjoyable. Met some people I hope with to brew and collaborate on gardening this season.

Brewing day had a lot of discussion around permaculture and I'm sure Sunday will too. If you need any advice, I think there is enough wisdom from the attendees for planning your space. You can check out what I've got too (chickens, coop, compost, Sq-Ft beds, etc).

I missed the brewing part, but I've had a lot of experience brewing before, having owned a homebrew shop and being a beer judge. I'm actually more interested in meeting y'all and talking chickens and gardening, which I have room for here in West Seattle and I'm about to dive into. Chicken coops, greenhouses, aquaponics, composting, fruit trees, berries, sprouting and wheatgrass are some of my most recent obsessions. Also keen on foraging, with some experience in mushrooms and shell fish.

Yeah you have it right. 2 weeks to ferment in the carboy and 4 weeks to mature in the bottle.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
