Robert and Haitao's Presentation

"Build a great app, everything else will come by itself"

-- 7 lessons we learned from our mobile startup journey

We would like to share 7 lessons we learned from our iOS app development experience in the last few months.

Half a year ago we started bootstrapping our startup. As developers we worried about many things except the technical and development side: product idea, finding great designers, naming, pricing, marketing, PR, partnership and so on. Eventually we realized that the only thing important is to "build a great app", then everything else will come after. It's easy to say, but we will share our real stories to show you what that means.

Thanks guys! Lots of good tips, I especially appreciated the insight about using the App Store name of your apps for SEO. To think I've been trying to keep my app names ultra short. Doh!

Great venue, I hope for more meetups at Disney, and not just because it's 100m from my apartment :-)

I learned a lot from Robert and his partner. Insightful, distressful and fun.
I wish in one year they share some follow up thoughts with what they've learned.
