I took four life drawing courses in college as well as two life painting courses so I have a considerable amount of experience with live models, but I need practice, practice, practice if I want to be great. Since leaving school a year ago my skills are rusty.
I am passionate about art and tattooing first and foremost, but I also dedicate alot of energy into the fashion community. I love to look at what is trending in the fashion underworld and use that imagery to develop as an artist. I think fashion is often overlooked as being a shallow medium but it speaks volumes about who we are as people and how others choose to represent themselves to the world intrigues me greatly.
If anyone has watercolor experience I will want to glean any knowledge they are willing to share. As for current projects, I would just like to develop my figure abilities so that I can begin to draw believable human proportions from memory.
I love oils and work in them often, however I am trying to tame the tiger that is watercolor and hope to excel in it someday.
I love the ocean and beach-combing/ swimming is one of my favorite pastimes. I also love ice cream and antiquing (preferably at the same time :) )
I am a Seattle based Illustrator who longs to be a tattoo artist. I went to RMCAD in Denver CO and graduated with my BFA in a speedy 2.5 years, but the ocean called me, and my cat Bun back home to the salty Northwest.
