About us
We are a group of photographers, photo enthusiasts, and creatives with interests that run from the most current in digital cameras to a passion for all things analogue. If you’re new to photography or a seasoned pro, this group is a great way to get out and socialise with people who have similar interests.
Our goal is to host 1-2 events a month, from Photowalks in varying neighbourhoods around Seattle, and surrounding areas, to social hours, we lovingly refer to as Brews and Views.
Photowalks are a blend of hanging out with your fellow photo geeks, exploring neighbourhoods or parks in the city, taking photos and having fun.
Brews & Views / Happy Hours are social gatherings, we find a pub or restaurant, ideally with decent food and a good selection of libations. We sometimes bring prints or digital tools to share our work. Often there are many cameras around to chat about. The conversation runs the gamut from photography (or course) to travel to movies to anything!
Other events we will host: Lighting Demos, Educational Lectures, and Excursions.
Our group is about supporting each other and being a space for people to learn and grow creatively.
All cameras are welcome, multiple cameras are even encouraged sometimes.

Capitol Hill a Color Hunt Photowalk
Cal Anderson Park, 1647 11th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122, Seattle, WA, USOVERVIEW
Let's capture colorful scenes on the hill!
For this month, we’re going to do a color hunt!I’ve been seeing this on social media off and on for a while, and I believe Capitol Hill is a great area for a challenge like this.
We will meet at the fountain in Cal Anderson Park, and from there slowly stroll through the colourful streets of the hill. Attendees will get to select a color before we head out. Knowing our groups can sometimes be sizable, more than one person will likely have the same color.
You can, of course, capture scenes that are interesting to you, but the goal of the color hunt is to focus on a theme of capturing images that highlight that color.
Be sure to share your fave images via hashtag: #seaphotocolorhunt
The plan for the photowalk is to end at the Seattle Zine Fest on 15th Ave E. It will be fun to check out this zine fest and see what other creatives and artists are making!
The Seattle Zine Fest starts at 12:00 PM
