Hello all you students of Turkish in Seattle! Lets get together to practice conversation, help each other with pronunciation and grammar and have fun exploring through conversation this fantastic language...all in a warm and comfortable setting at Cafe Allegro (upstairs).

Students of all levels are totally welcome. I'd like to focus on speaking, since we'll have to be doing a lot of this if we want to become functional or fluent on the ground in Türkiye and will encourage us to speak in Turkish as much possible (we'll see how far we get!). Don't worry if you're a bit rusty (I sure am) or don't have much experience speaking the language. Learners of all levels are completely welcome.

I'll plan on scheduling a meetup ONCE a WEEK and will keep track of new vocab/grammar for us to practice and try to revisit it in subsequent Meetups. We'll build on what we learn week by week and thus, in the end, we can make big strides in our language skills. I encourage everyone to bring questions, vocabulary or model dialogue for us to practice. This is primarily a meetup for learning to speak Turkish, but everyone is very welcome to come. Native speakers of Turkish - please come! We'd love to learn from you, share stories and get to know one another.
