March Developer Meetup

Hey Gang! This month we are going to change it up a bit. Instead of having a presentation we are going to have a hack night for the Seattle WordPress website. For over a year we have been working on getting the site up and running, but there simply is not enough time in the day to accomplish everything. The Alibi has fantastic food and drinks, so bring your laptop and grab a task. Let's get this website off the ground!

We need frontend themers and designers! Developers are notorious for clunky, ugly UI. If you are a themer or designer and have a couple hours to spare we need you!

Some things we are hoping to accomplish:

Login integration with Meetup.com ( halfway built, needs the final push ) Login integration with WordPress.com ( needs to link to the Meetup login ) Kickin theme - would be great to be BuddyPress compatible Frontend work for the local contractor/business directory BuddyPress - let's get social! If there is a BP expert in the house we would love to integrate social aspects to the site Pull Meetup events from the Meetup API to post locally Site organization
