March WordPress Meetup - WP Experts Answer Your Questions

Our apologies for the last minute venue change! Details are below:

The Hub is on the corner of 1st and Main in Pioneer Square, on the 4th floor of the historic Globe Building. Please use the entrance on 1st Ave, at 310 1st Ave S, and take the stairs or elevator to the 4th floor.

By popular demand, this month will be a unique twist on the regular schedule. Instead of having 1 speaker, we'll be hosting a number of guest "experts" that will join us for networking and breakout groups, answering your questions, spurring discussion, and helping us all improve our skills. Check out the schedule below!

  • 6-6:30 Check-In & Show off your name sticker with pride! (Drinks & Pizza Provided)
  • 6:30 WordPress News & WordCamp Updates
  • 6:45 Networking (Find others to help or who can help you with your projects)
  • 7:30 Breakout Groups w/ guest experts (Developers • Designers & Advanced Users • Beginning Users & Bloggers - this is time to get your questions answered, share your knowledge and learn)

Lindsey Engh & HUB Seattle for hosting us at the last minute!

Tinypass - for sponsoring the pizza and beverages!

Popchips - for their in-kind sharing of those chips we all love!

Mad Pizza - for their continued support by offering us a discount on their pizza!

If you would like to give a presentation on a WordPress topic, that would be great. Just let the organizers know.

Join the group and RSVP for our next meeting! We would love to have your input and participation.

Free of charge and full of passionate WordPress users, you're guaranteed to walk away inspired and hungry for more. For many, this will serve as a great forum to network with other Seattle WP users and get your questions answered. For others, this is your chance to discover the growing WordPress community of Seattle.

We look forward to seeing you at TechStars! Yes, there's wi-fi!

It was an informative evening, and I appreciate the generous host of the location, but I just wanted to share it was very hard to hear one another when networking. Thanks

This was the most direct help I gained from the 3 sessions I've attended. Please repeat this format periodically. You might ask folks to submit questions in advance which may produce a better sort. I participated in the Blue group and got direct suggestions for my question in the moderated session, and I was able to provide some general project management guidance to some folks who were trying to make decisions about Themes and migration from previous platforms.

    Attended the "power-user" devsigner group...
found the discussion to be pretty un-inspired.

I loved the ability to ask & receive solid WP advice from folks who know their stuff. Shout out to HUB for hosting us. Bob Dunn & Grant and all the experts did a great job. Thanks.
