WordPress Developers Meetup

This month we will be discussing how to extend user profiles. Some items we will deal with include:

• Remove unused profile fields
• Add new profile fields
• Create an author profile that displays at the foot of each post
• Create an author information page, I.E. blog.com/author/blobaugh

To get the most out of the lab portion of the Meetup bring a laptop with an install of WordPress. We will be developing a plugin to remove unused profile fields, add a Twitter handle field, along with the front end updates.
