Seattle WordPress Meetup: Celebrating 2 Years with a special speaker from SEOMoz

This month we will be celebrating our 2nd Anniversary and the approach to 1,000 members!

We are very lucky to have someone coming from SEOMoz as our featured speaker.

This will be followed with networking, food and drinks. A perfect time to chat with other WordPressers and make connections.

Beer, wine, spirits, soda and water will be served. Food includes a variety of tasty appetizers and the usual variety of pizza.

We'll also have a bunch of giveaways including premium WordPress themes and plugins.

It was a pleasure meeting Bob, Ben and Grant before the meetup this week. The meeting seemed geared towards new users with basic knowledge of Wordpress. I was happy to help all of the new Wordpress users who chatted with me, but I was hoping for some serious discussion and networking with other advanced developers.

There is an underground parking garage entrance on Republican Street between Boren and Terry Avenue. Can't remember the exact rate, but it didn't impress me as being outrageous. The elevator comes out right beside the new Top Pot coffee/donut shop, which is giving away FREE donuts and coffee for their grand opening. Line is out the door. It's a Homer Simpson field day.
