Monthly Meeting

Monthly Meeting for the Secular Party of Australia in Brisbane.

We will be having a meeting first Sunday of the month for the moment subject to change depending on the availability of members.

2013 is an election year so we will mostly be spending this time discussing how we can get involved and make a difference.

I have uploaded the Notes from the meeting on Sunday. Thanks to all those who attended the meeting and all those who'll be helping Anne this Saturday at the by-election.

The agenda has been updated to this website. Check it out in the files section. Remember the venue change as Anne notes below: The Edge, State Library. It's a short agenda but this is a big meeting as we have the Griffith by-election next weekend. Plenty of things to organise and it would be great to have as many people at this meeting as possible who might be able to help out next week.

Again I will prepare an agenda for this meeting, which is bound to be important as we have a by-election coming up in Griffith. There is a draft agenda available already, members may add additional items by contacting me. The official agenda will be up on the Friday before the meeting. All members are encouraged to attend the meetings. Non-members are as usually welcome. The venue will be the upstairs meeting room at the city library, NOT west end coffee club. This should be updated soon.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
