Secular Parenting is a group where non-religious parents and their kids can get together socially without all the stigma, judgement, and proselytizing we often have to deal with in typical southern family groups. Kids of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate. I try to keep the activities appropriate and fun for a wide age range; if a meetup is not appropriate for a certain age group, I will make that apparent in the meetup announcement.
I hope the Secular Parenting group will become a place for making new friends; for parents and kids alike.
If you are raising your kids to think for themselves, examine the evidence, and make their own decisions, then this is a group for you. Atheist, secular humanist, agnostic, skeptic - however you identify yourself, you will be among friends.
