FW: Teaching/discussion this Sunday February 17 - Michael Hall in Binghamton

Michael Hall is a self-realized teacher and psychotherapist.  IMHO his meetings are well worth attending.
11:02 AM (11 minutes ago)

This Sunday February 17 we will meet at the same 2 pm time and again at the First Congregational Church at the corner of Front and Main St. in Binghamton. Parking is in the Church lot off of Front St., and the entrance is on the Front St. side of the building. Come in the side door and look for the Meditation Room, which is upstairs on the second floor. This room is the one we met in last time. It is larger than the space available in my office building, and at least for now we should have less concern about overcrowding. The Rev. Dr. Arthur Suggs has been the pastor for several years and has led an ongoing transformation of the church into a welcoming and hospitable location for people of different faiths, beliefs, and lifestyles. The church website is:

Joining me in this presentation will be Jonathan van Valin from Seattle, Washington. I first met Jonathan about two years ago when he emailed me seeking input regarding his ego deconstruction process. The ending of the Jonathan character was fairly far along at that time. We spoke on Skype a couple of times, and I didn't hear from him again until later that summer. It happened that Jonathan was going to Lake Atilan in Guatemala at the same time that Margot Ridler and I were going to be in Puerto Escondido, Mexico-not that far apart. Jonathan made arrangements to take a bus over, and we sat on the beach talking all afternoon. We've been in touch periodically ever since, and I welcome the opportunity to have him share his adventures with us. His story reminds me a lot of Margot's in that his former life needed to crumble and fall away before the new life could be born.
If you would like to attend, please RSVP to me. The suggested donation is $20.  All who are interested are welcome. I expect the discussion will continue until approximately 3:45. Please arrive by 1:50. We are required to keep the side door to the church locked, so if you arrive later than 2:05, you will be locked out and unable to attend. Until that time someone will be posted at the door to let you in and show you where the meeting room is located.
