Wow! What a turn out! Lots of new attendees, great discussion about marketing, book covers, Create Space and Kindle. Doug shared the info on the new Kindle Matchbook Program offered via Amazon. And Craig shared the newspaper article about Chester County Book Store re-opening ... and the store's new focus on local and regional authors in the front of the store. Many attendees with books in the works! The Best Meetup so far!

I'd be interested in discussing the new Kindle Matchbook program at this meeting. Rosemary, can you add this to the agenda?

I have paid three different people to edit my book and all three did a terrible job. I'm hoping some one in your group can advise me how to edit my writing.

Although I haven't met with your group yet (I look forward to doing so in the future), I am actively writing and getting ready for NaNoWriMo. You all might be interested to know that the Harford County Public Library, where I work, is offering a writer's conference [Just Write, $50)] on Sunday, September 29th. You can also pay an additional $50 if you want a manuscript read by one of the presenters.

And here at my branch in Havre de Grace, MD, we are offering a 4 session series to get folks ready for NaNo (free) on Monday evenings
    First session is Sept 16th.

All of these have guest presenters, both the conference & and the Write a Novel: You Can Do It workshop series.
