Introduction: Vijay Raj, is an entrepreneur based in Boulder, CO. He has worked on Semantic Web technologies for over five years. He has contributed to Linked Open Data with one of the first mappings from OpenCyc to DBPedia ( http://wiki.dbpedia.org/OpenCyc - credited as Vijay Alilaghatta). For the last few years his focus has been to build granular, distributed, hierarchical ontologies. Towards that goal, he has built the back-end to analyze and organize knowledge from 100 newspapers across the US. By shallow semantic analysis, ontologies for any person place or thing are created from news analysis.
