The Midwest Balloon Fest (http://midwestballoonfest.org/) is a family-friendly hot air balloon festival for the region. As a 501 (c)3 organization it provides a vehicle for area charities to raise money through participatory donations.
Serve KC Volunteers will assist by securing the balloon perimeter by ensuring patrons stay behind the fence that separates the public from the balloon area, allowing admittance during the Balloon Glow, and assisting viewers back to the designated area outside of the balloons.
Bring your lawn chairs and wear attire that is weather appropriate. We had a fun time at the event last year and it will be a blast this year!
Volunteers will benefit from free parking and admission.

NOTE: The volunteer needs for this event are growing by the minute and volunteers may be asked to provide assistance in areas outside of the balloon perimeter. Your flexibility in working in other areas is appreciated.
