Habitat KC ReStore (WALDO)

Habitat KC ReStore (http://habitatkc.org/restorekc/) accepts donated building materials, saving space in the landfills, and resells it to people in the community for home repair. The funds then go back into supporting the housing programs Habitat for Humanity is known for.

Volunteering at ReStore isn't as physical as the builds either, we typically sort donations, stock inventory and make the stores look nice. When you give your time at ReStore you might be sorting trim or tile, measuring blinds, color tabbing paint or an assortment of other tasks. Come ready to get your hands dirty and clothes too.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 16 years old & wear closed-toe shoes.

Serve KC volunteers every 2nd Saturday at the Habitat KC Waldo location. We'll work for 3 hours starting at 9:30 am and work until 12:30 pm. If you need to leave early please tell the event host. Please be firm in your commitment as space is limited
