Board Game Donation Drive & Social

Serve KC members & friends please join us for a special donation drive to collect much needed board games for the children, families & seniors at Phoenix Family (http://www.phoenixfamily.org/). Please bring at least 1 new or gently used board game to donate. Family-friendly and kid games are in high demand and will help cure summer boredom.

Our friends at Snow & Company (http://www.snowandcompany.com/) will provide a FREE light-appetizer buffet (vegetable tray, hummus/pita, chip and salsa duo and assorted flat bread pizzas) for those who donate a game. You can also check out their menu (http://www.snowandcompany.com/menu/crossroads-menu/)of Frozen Cocktails or enjoy Happy Hour Specials from 3-7 pm: $2 off select wines and $1 off beers.

Staff from Phoenix Family will also be in attendance to share information about their HIKE Reading Program provides one-on-one reading tutoring to children as well as other volunteer opportunities.

Game Suggestions: Connect 4, Sequence - Letters/Numbers, Battleship, Memory, Checkers, Sorry, Monopoly Jr., Mancala, Scrabble Jr., Dominoes, Yahtzee, Checkers, Jenga, Apples to Apples, Spot it, varieties of card games; etc.

Needed Supplies: glue sticks, construction paper, dry erase markers, pencil sharpeners, etc.
