Each year, The Salvation Army provides thousands of toys to children who would otherwise have nothing at Christmas.

With the Angel Tree project, you select an angel from one of the trees, purchase the items the child would like like for Christmas and bring it to a specific location, which will be the Salvation Army location listed above.

What we as a team will be doing is taking those items, matching them with the original request, bagging them, and tagging them for pickup by the family. 

I'm told that the time will probably be 9-4.  We can take a break for lunch if we need to. They asked for 15 volunteers.  I thought if we have more we can be finished quicker, so bring your friends.  It's easy work.

Christine Coy will be there from 9-12.  I will relieve her to make sure everyone gets a break that wants one. 

I've done this before on a smaller scale and it goes pretty quick once you get started. 

If you don't think you can work the whole time, PLEASE try to come at 9:00 and stay as long as you can.  

THE MINIMUM AGE FOR THIS EVENT IS 10.
