The PowerLinux Users Group is an international users group that empowers members to connect globally to take control and shape the future of PowerLinux software development for the OpenSource community.
PLUG promotes and supports PowerLinux developers on PowerPC platforms. We provide our members with on-site and remote access to development systems including PowerLinux servers and embedded hardware, as well as networking opportunities with PowerLinux engineers and guest speakers.
The resources around PowerLinux are growing. Tools available now include github.com/powerlinux a place were the community can find a contribute to current PowerLinux software repositories, You can connect with other PowerLinux developers on the IRC channel #mklinux @ irc.freenode.net , There is also R.P.L.E. “Ripple” is a free remote development services Servergy offers to PowerLinux developers to support and provide a home on cutting edge PowerLinux technology located inside Servergy’s world class datacenter in Dallas, Texas. We offer 32-bit and 64-bit PowerLinux development platforms, and a wide variety of resources and software together with our PowerLinux partners. Servergy has PowerLinux support available for registered PLUG members.
Working with our sponsors – including Avnet, Freescale, Linux Foundation, Power.org, IBM, Oracle, Raritan, RedHat and SUSE – we will nurture an environment for developers and designers to collaborate, share their visions, and interact. This will be the place to introduce, develop and support Linux on the Power Architecture.
