Greetings, and welcome to Shambhala Center!

My name is Shusara Akona Kumara. I am one of a multitude of people here on our Mother Earth at this time to hold and increase humanity's light. While I have always been an avid student of metaphysics, my full awakening began in 2007 when my Kundalini was activated and I was lead to my spiritual mentor. I now carry my memories of where I came from and my mission here.

My job is to help awaken humanity and to act as a guide for those who wish to make great spiritual advances in this lifetime. I began Shambhala Center as a means to reach out to people who are seeking truth at this time, and are willing to question everything they've been taught in order to find it.

What is Shambhala Center? Very simply put, it is an energy. Shambhala Center represents an energy which is very specific to me, my light family, and my mission here. It is an energy which is carried wherever our members go and it positively affects the lives of all those with whom we come into contact.

Shambhala Center also represents deep spiritual understandings and facilitating the integration of them in seekers. As an awakened starseed, I enjoy being part of the awakening process of others who are currently here on Earth to serve humanity. Part of the work I do through Shambhala Center is to bring knowledge of the Illumined Worlds back into the conscious minds of fellow starseeds. I enjoy teaching all types of classes on meditation, toning, chakra mudras, the rays of light, starseeds, how the law of attraction actually works, the I AM presence and other varied topics.

My greatest joy, however, is in working with true spiritual aspirants: those who have reached the point in their journey when they are ready to surrender themselves to the path to liberation. At this time, most are not ready to cast off the ingrained beliefs which bind them. The saying, "many are called, but few are chosen" is very accurate, because the appeal of liberation calls to the seeker like the song of the siren, but most choose to veer away when the work becomes difficult, rather than allowing themselves to be dashed upon the rocks (to continue the metaphor), where freedom is found. Many of those who are ready to begin the work have a background in spirituality which may include the following: A Course in Miracles, Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, the Upanishads, Vedanta, Mooji, Gangaji, Adyashanti, Gary Renard, various forms of Eastern teachings, Theosophy and channels such as Bashar and Abraham. Still others simply find their way to this work quite innocently, not knowing why they came, but knowing now is the time.

The method I use to guide seekers is unique. In essense, we use a piece of the mind to dissolve the mind, thus enabling consciousness to open back up to its true nature and once again function from its Knowing, which resides within the heart. In truth, your life is your spiritual path and there is nothing to change. All you need to achieve liberation from the polarized mind already exists in your life and it is my work to point you in the direction required to see through the maya we call "reality". 

If you have a deep, inner knowing that the time has come to "go home" and can recognize that all the spritual teachings you have followed in the past have left you with a certain emptiness inside, I invite you to join me at Shambhala Center.

It is my most sincere desire to facilitate the spiritual growth of any true seeker who is lead to my work. I strive to remain a most humble servant in the service of The One.
