The role of Cryptocurrencies and decentralization in the Shift of Consciousness

We are proud to announce the partnership of Shift Happens and Social Symmetry (http://www.socialsymmetry.org/) with TaraEden (http://taraedenecovillage.tumblr.com/about) of Vero Beach.

TaraEden is a newly formed organization in Vero Beach, Florida that intends to build a sustainable ecovillage community here in our home town. We are a collective of like minded individuals who are all seeking sustainable solutions to the problems our society creates. We hope to create a new lifestyle and share it with the world.

As our first meetup event we chose to give a presentation on the disruptive technology of Cryptocurrencies and decentralized programs that run on a Blockchain and how these tools have the potential to transform virtually every aspect of how society functions. From banking to governance, social media to voting, these emerging innovations threaten to render nearly every bureaucratic system obsolete and place the control of these systems back into the hands of the people they serve.

If you've never heard of Cryptocurrencies or Bitcoin, or you have but you don't really understand them, you will leave the presentation with a much firmer grasp of what these things really mean. If you've heard of them but don't see what they have to do with spiritual awakening, you will leave understanding how powerful Crypto can be at shifting consciousness. And finally, if you are a Crytocurrency expert or programmer you should absolutely come because we need to meet you! :)
