After Work Hike! Temescal Canyon Loop

We are moving up our weekly after work hike back to Temescal Canyon, now that Daylight Saving has begun! Temescal Canyon is a beautiful coastal hike with a decent climb in elevation. This is a regular Meetup every Wednesday night.

Temescal Gateway Park is located off of PCH at the intersection of Sunset Blvd. and Temescal Canyon Road. Parking is free along Sunset Blvd and Temescal Canyon Road, but there is a charge to park inside the park. Let's meet at the entrance of the park on Sunset Blvd at 7PM. We should be done around 8:30PM, so bring a head lamp if you have one because it will get dark. The loop is about 2.6 miles with a challenging hill climb. We should reach the summit just in time to watch the sunset.

Bathrooms inside the park are locked, so be prepared. Sorry, pups are not allowed on this trail :(
