First Hack-together at CLPL

Let's get together and hack on our own personal side projects, learn about what other people in our community are working on, and just get to know each other a little better. * We're a pro-Open-Source group but if your side project is closed-source you're still welcome to join us but please be open about being closed if you're being helped.

The meeting is at the Crystal Lake Public Library in the downstairs big meeting room.

We'll have donuts and coffee in the morning for the early risers. At around 12:30 we'll be bringing in lunch (From TBD). After 4:30 we can decide as a group whether to adjourn to a local coffee shop or head off to grab a beer.

Itinerary:

• 9:30 AM doors open. Grab a coffee and donut then spread out the tables and chairs.
• 9:45 Welcome and a message from our sponsor Assembly.com. We introduce ourselves, our projects, and any goals for the day.
• 10:00 We split up and pair off, if you're pairing inclined.
• 11:30 (quick poll for lunch)
• 12:30 break for lunch. Discuss our work and chit-chat. You're free to work through lunch but taking a break and networking is encouraged.
• 1:30 We split up and pair off, if you're pairing inclined.
• 4:15 Start to close up for the day, tidy the room back up and decide whether we want to continue at a coffee shop or head for a beer.
