Lone Tree Trail to Muir Pk (4688), Inspiration Pt (4510) (strenuous)

Details
This hike is not closed, but because it's different from our usual hikes (and harder than most of them), we would like people to answer some questions before we move them from the waitlist to the hike proper.* For people who come on our evening hikes, you should regularly do hikes at level 4 and above to go on this hike. Thanks for your understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions.
No beginners!
O: This very strenuous hike is for advanced hikers only, and involves ~9 mi and ~3000 ft of gain over difficult terrain. Starting in Altadena at the Lone Tree Trail trailhead (1760), we'll hike steeply (680 ft of gain in first 1/2 mi) to West Fuji (3681), Panorama Pt (4550), then to Muir Pk and Inspiration Pt. Enjoy great views and varied scenery on some less-traveled trails. Bring 2 qts water, lunch, bug spray, lug soled hiking boots/shoes, hat, and layered clothing. Rain or snow cancels. Reminder: clocks are set forward the night before. For trip details, contact leaders with recent experience/conditioning.
