Florida Suncoast Sierra Club (https://www.facebook.com/SuncoastSierra), Tampa Bay Sierra Club (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tampa-Bay-Sierra-Club/317283312790), Rise Above Plastics - Suncoast Surfrider Foundation (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rise-Above-Plastics-Suncoast-Surfrider-Foundation/122337677804231), Suncoast Surfrider Foundation (https://www.facebook.com/suncoastsurfrider) and St. Petersburg Sustainability Council (https://www.facebook.com/StPetersburgSustainabilityCouncil) will be holding what is historically one of the largest gatherings of people around the world joining hands to say yes to clean energy and no to dirty fuels. We are moving to Gandy Bridge this year for easier access to all parts of the Tampa Bay Area. Come out and #JoinHands.

Click the blue for more info. We recommend coming early for the clean up - if you have to park, will make your life less stressful and the beach needs a good clean up. Bring a picnic or just enjoy the beach - we will have a press conference and photos in-between clean up and Hands.

Hands Across the Sand is a world wide movement made of people of all walks of life and crosses political affiliations. This movement is not about politics; it is about protection of the air we breath, the water that sustains us, our coastal economies, oceans, marine wildlife and fishing industries. This movement is about embracing energy sources that will sustain our planet.
Every May the people of the world will join hands to champion clean energy solutions to our filthy fuels problem. Promoting a clean energy future now is the path to a sustainable planet.
