Getting Off Auto Shoot

  • September 8, 2013 · 5:30 PM

The Camera Committee is offering this field workshop designed for beginning digital photographers who want to learn to manually control camera functions. We will review such camera functions as aperture settings for depth of field, shutter speed to blur moving water and lights, ISO speed, multiple exposures and more. There will an opportunity to photography around Grand Avenue in the afternoon light and take pictures of the lights of Los Angeles after dark. Participants will need to bring their own camera; all camera types are welcome. Group size is limited and participants must contact leader, Stephen Beck, to obtain a place in the workshop.  Send email to Stephen Beck: s_beck[at]pacbell[dot]net.

We had a super group of friendly photographers sharing picture taking ideas in Grand Park. Thanks to everyone for helping to make a very enjoyable summer evening. And, thanks again Peter and Joan... this would not have been possible without your support and work last night.
