The Loxahatchee Group of the Sierra Club participates in many green events sponsored by schools, communities, nature centers and parks. These are great opportunities to help us share the Sierra message with the public. We meet and greet folks, share Sierra Club literature and happenings, and sell some environmentally friendly items. Sometimes we bring along the Everglades Animal Habitat Game for the children. It isn't difficult, and is usually only a two hour commitment. Any Sierran whose heart is with the environment can do it. We do need your help!
Only RSVP here if you are willing to donate two hours of your time to help us at the Sierra Club table. We encourage you to attend the event even if you don't volunteer. Stop by our table to say hello and share your concerns about the environment.
Please check out http:www.mydelraybeach.com for details. You may want to participate in the drawing of the HighWaterLine in one of 3 neighborhoods. Lots going on throughout the day and evening. The 9 to 2 time is just for the vendors.
