Polar Bear Dance Party to:
“Put Shell on Ice!”
All right, we need your help now more than ever. Right now, Shell Oil’s drill ships are headed to the Polar Bear Seas to drill this summer—but if there’s a [spill] problem, Shell can’t solve it. Join others across the country to protect America’s Arctic.
Polar bears don’t want their homes drilled in this summer. How about you? We need to tell President Obama that we do not want Shell to destroy the Polar Bear Seas. If President Obama doesn't act, drilling will begin this summer, putting this special wild place in enormous danger - threatening the polar bears, ice seals, walrus, whales and Native cultures.
That's where you come in! On April 28th, we're having a nation-wide Polar Bear Dance Party to deliver our message in force. Everyone will dress in white, wear our polar bear masks, and dance!
We're going to set a world record for the most dancing polar bears to "Protect America's Arctic!" You'll be part of history!

What is a Polar Bear Dance Party? It’s a fun event where anywhere from 10 to 100 people gather, wave signs, and dance their best polar bear boogie. You don’t need to be a good performer – you just have to care about the Arctic and have fun!

After our flash-mob-like Polar Bear Dance, there will be a rally to Unite Women at Westlake Park. You are certainly encouraged to attend it!
