Foothill Hikers Pages

Our Mission:

1) Provide memorable small-group hiking experiences within the American and Yuba River watersheds. An important aspect of delivering this experience is limiting hikes to no more than 15-people and ensuring that everyone is accommodated on the trail. Hikers are encouraged to share their knowledge, experiences and local history stories. It's rewarding when the combination of natural wonders and great conversation turn a good hike into a great one!

We only ask that you understand and agree to our disclaimer and guidelines at all times and attend excursions within your ability level.

2) Support our local conservancy and advocacy organizations via logistical support, communication and fundraising activities.

Foothill Hikers has the most vibrant calendar in the greater Sacramento hiking community including plentiful Foothill Hiker led excursions and 'non-Foothill Hikers' led events including seminars, volunteer opportunities and hikes led by conservation and advocacy groups.
