SVAOS display at Maker Faire

Let's organize an SVAOS display for Maker Faire. The submission deadline for abstracts is March 20 and the Call for Makers is at http://makerfaire.com/bayarea/2012/callform... I'd love to have a table where startups pass out flyers about their businesses and members have displays or demos of their personal projects(please inform SVAOS organizers by March 17th(a Saturday), if possible, so that we can incorporate into our booth request). Anyone who helps out with the booth will gain free entry to the Faire.

    I'm available to organize this and setup the booth. I'll take a stab at drafting an abstract. Probably having at least two involved in this project would be ideal.

    Guys, I am not going to have much time to spend on this activity. If we are going to have a booth, someone else is going to have to organize. Will someone else agree to draft an abstract and post it here on the "Pages" section of the wiki? The abstract deadline is 3/20. Let's get this going.

    If a member would step up to be Booth Captain, that would be great. I hope that we will get a number of local businesses to participate besides having members pitch their startups or show off their projects. A certain amount of outreach will be required therefore. I volunteer the materials I showed at the Southern California Linux Expo but don't want to have a one-person display if at all possible.
