A short bio of Brad:

Brad Templeton is currently chair of Computing & Networks at Singularity University (http://singularityu.org), and a director (Chairman 2000-2010) of the Electronic Frontier Foundation (http://www.eff.org) (EFF), the leading cyberspace civil rights foundation. He is on the board of the Foresight Institute (http://foresight.org) and an advisor to BitTorrent Inc. He advises Google's team developing self-driving cars, and writes about such cars at http://robocars.com . He founded ClariNet Communications Corp (the world's first "dot-com" company.) He also created and publishes rec.humor.funny, and its web site, www.netfunny.com, the world's longest running blog.
