An update from Morgan Reed, ACT Executive Director, on current issues at the federal and state level that impact the way app developers run their business.

How can I best solve the privacy conundrum and still do cool things?

Part I: Privacy Policies and Disclosure Icons (40 minutes)

Lorraine Akemann, co-founder of Moms withApps, and Mike Sax, Founder of Sax.net, lead the discussion on how best to establish privacy policies and disclose important information to your customers.

Part II: Privacy By Design (40 minutes)

Mark Blafkin, Executive Director of Innovator’s Network – a community for startups and entrepreneurs, will lead the discussion on Privacy By Design. What it means and how best to implement it.

Discussion on COPPA and Parental Consent specifically focusing on how best to be COPPA compliant in your communications, user-to-user, user-to-developer, and data collection/storage disposal/minimization
