In my seventeen years of experience, I have used empathy, meaning and craft in hopes of improving the human condition. I focus on design theories that promote cognitive and behavioral change. As a Creative Director this has been realized through the design of products and services for health diagnosis and monitoring, personal health management, physical fitness, wellness, learning and teaching. On a given day I lead multi-disciplinary teams in research, ideation, strategy, interaction design, visual design and industrial design for our world’s leading organizations.
I completed my graduate work in Stanford’s Learning, Design and Technology program. There I researched and developed user-centered technologies, environments and experiences for learning. My particular interest is in Media Literacy education for both classroom and non-traditional learning environments.
I believe we carry hidden notions of who we should and could be. I believe that Design achieves its highest value when it helps us become that self. My intention is to create transformative experiences, ones that make us healthier, happier and wiser.
