Each entrepreneur will pitch for five minutes, followed by five minutes of Q & A from the investor panel.

There will be five pitchers participating. There will be prizes awarded to the top pitcher and the runner up.

There will also be door prizes given out to some lucky attendees.

While there will be some food and refreshments available courtesy of our sponsors, attendees are asked to bring food and drinks to share -- in the spirit of community, collaboration, and crowd sourcing. : - )

Ariel Poler is an entrepreneur, mentor and investor. Ariel was the founder of IPRO, the first web analytics company, Topica, one of the first email communities, and TextMarks, a pioneering provider of SMS marketing services. He was board member of Kana Software, LinkExchange, StumbleUpon, Scan and Odeo. Ariel currently serves on the boards of Freedom Financial and Strava. His angel investments include AdMob, Flixster, Slideshare, VivaReal, BrightRoll, Optimizely, Causes, Mashery, Kongregate and NexTag.

Ariel holds a B.S. in Mathematics with Computer Science from MIT and an MBA from Stanford University. He is originally from Venezuela and lives in San Francisco with his wife and three children. Ariel is addicted to kitesurfing - particularly kite racing and kiting on waves.

Michael Pachos is a Principal at Samsung Ventures. He joined Samsung 2008, first working out of the Seoul headquarters, and then transferring to the San Jose office in 2012. He focuses on consumer, display, and IT related investments. Select portfolio companies are Collective Media, Pivot3, Novaled and nLight.

Prior to joining Samsung Ventures, Michael worked in the Samsung Group's Global Strategy Group (GSG). GSG was established under the chairman's office to address strategic and operational issues at the CEO level of Group companies. Michael worked on projects involving M&A, convergence and digital media strategy, and channel strategy. Before joining Samsung Michael was a CPU architect at DEC, Compaq/HQ and Intel. Michael is also a co-founder of Global Velocity, an enterprise security related hardware company.

Michael earned his M.B.A. at the Wharton School and completed law related coursework.

Avi Pasheeva is an associate at Voivoda Ventures (http://www.voivoda.com/), an early stage fund that focuses on investments in software companies in the B2B space. Primarily engaged with startups in the cloud, enterprise, SaaS, and mobile space, Avi's responsibilities range from sourcing of deal flow and conducting due diligence, to investor relations and startup coaching. She has been a frequent speaker, mentor and judge at startup competitions.
