Designer Showcase, Social and Fabric Swap!

All members of Silver Spring Sewing Sisters are invited to our first official Spring Meetup.

Those of you who have any items you have sewn bring them in for show and tell. Even if you have never made anything you are encourage to attend to meet the rest of the members of the group.

If you are a designers, professional seamstresses, novice or never made anything and you are just starting out come join us for a fun afternoon. If you bring an item we want you to share with the group what inspired you and what you used to create the item(s). Pillows, Aprons, dresses, children's clothing, bags etc. Every item is welcome.

If you have a business and would like to promote your service please come armed with business cards. We welcome you to provide a little background on your sewing history and share some tips and ideas for those who might have less experience or are looking to become more committed to sewing.

Lastly, if you have any unwanted fabric please bring it in to trade with others. I have two bins of fabric anyone is welcomed to take home with them. This is a perfect opportunity to begin building your fabric stash :-)

You will not need to bring a food item or your sewing machine for this MeetUp as we are meeting in a restaurant. The fee is $10 to cover the cost of the room and light snacks. If you choose to order a beverage you will be charged separately.
