This is a monthly musical gathering in N.K. for all families/caregivers (traditional and non-traditional) with infants to 5 year olds (older siblings welcome too). Music has a tremendous power, early in life, to support the developing child in all his/her growing capacities. It forges unique connections in the brain, integrating mind, body and emotions. It enhances a child's language, cognitive, emotional, social and physical development. Simply put, music learning supports all learning. I would like to create space/community where we will share songs, instrument play, dancing and movement activities in a relaxed, playful, non-performance oriented setting. There will also be time for conversation and building friendships. I will provide instruments, dancing scarves and upbeat music (IPOD) and invite others to bring their own instruments and music to share. I will also share lullabies and invite others to as well. I will always have my trusty guitar! I love leading families in musical fun. Together we will encourage our children's (and our own!) natural enthusiasm for music and rhythmic play and allow the magic of music to unfold! Please join us!
*NOTE: $12.00 annual membership is due 30 days after joining OR after you have attended your first meetup, providing you had fun! If you pay now and decide to leave the group after coming once, I will happily refund your dues (minus the 3% paypal charge.)

- 1. No need to pay dues until you have come to your first meetup. Any dues paid will be refunded if you change your mind after that meetup - just let me know. 2. There is a 3% fee that is charged by paypal that will be reflected in any refunds.
