"The Future of Technology" by Henry Kwok

Many of the changes happening around us are largely shaped by technology. This talk is intended to provide a broad view of the technology of tomorrow and how we can design products that could be sustainable into the future.

Speaker Bio

Henry is a business developer and entrepreneur. He was a Global Partner with Haines Centre for Strategic Management for the Asia-Pacific Region, based in Singapore, prior to setting up his own consultancy practice – SPACES@Work. His passion is to share his experiences with individuals and organisations - both for-profit and not-for-profit – to help them realise their dreams by being more strategic by looking into future challenges and possibilities but also by thinking beyond their bounded rationality.

Henry has offered his volunteer services to international welfare organizations like Singapore International Foundation, UNITAR and YMCA.
Henry has held senior executive positions in Global Companies with regional responsibilities. These appointments have helped shapes his global perspective on many issues. He has also helped set-up several local companies of which he held directorship and helped them to expand internationally.

Henry's aim is to help individuals, organisations and communities to realise their dreams on a sustainable basis by sharing his experience on taking a strategic long term view into the future. To prepare for the future, we need future foresight not only to cast our vision but also to design the mechanism of “forward feedback.”
