NodeSchool Singapore is happening!

The event will be held Sunday the 15th of June, from 10am – 6pm at Newton Circus (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=237%20South%20Bridge%20Road%2C%20Singapore), in China Town.

If you're looking to learn Node.js or become more proficient at JavaScript, this is the best way to do it.

We'll be running at least two core-concepts workshops from NodeSchool (http://nodeschool.io/):

– Learn You The Node.js For Much Win!
Learn the basics of node: modules, asynchronous i/o, http

– Stream Adventure
Wrangle the most powerful, yet misunderstood feature of Node.js

– Bytewiser
Learn how to manipulate binary data in Node.js and HTML5 browsers

– Functional JavaScript
Learn essential functional programming features of JavaScript using vanilla ES5.

– Git-it
Learn Git and GitHub basics.

Everybody is Welcome

NodeSchool is designed specifically for developers with some JavaScript knowledge, but little or no experience with Node.js. This event will give you a solid start with Node.js and round-out your JavaScript skills.

Students will be encouraged to work in pairs and we'll be providing friendly, knowledgeable mentors so you will not be left alone scratching your head.
