Thanks for coming to SingaporeQS 05!

Hi everybody,

Thanks a million to everybody who came down to the Hub on Monday for our fifth meetup! A full house, again, and a lot of new faces. So happy to meet our new members, our old-schoolers and our esteemed out-of-town visitors. One of the curses of organising is not getting the time to speak to you all, so open invitation, if you're ever passing through town, look me up for a coffee!

(Speaking of a full house, did you know that SingaporeQS is now the 20th largest meetup... in the world!? It's true: http://quantified-sel...)

Thanks to Grace, friend of Newton Circus and UP Singapore, for hosting us at The Hub Singapore. The Hub is a co-working space for people who want to make a positive difference in the world. We have a few members with desks there and I'm sure they'd like some company, so if you'd like a tour, Grace would be happy to show you around. Reach her at grace@thehub.sg!

If you liked what Daryl had to say about UP Singapore and want to get involved in an upcoming Health UP mini-hackathon, please sign up for updates at www.upsingapore.com and email hello@upsingapore.com with any suggestions, data requests or ideas.

It was also great to hear from Meng, on his speculative Fishbowl Flag project. Would you like you live your life as a data nudist? Tell Meng all about it and have him make it a reality: https://twitter.com/m...

Finally, thanks so much to Dr. Pam Yoder and Sahil Handa for sharing part of their short time in Singapore with up. It was great to have both of you speak and the feedback I have been receiving has been really positive! And ace reviews for your sessions at Connected Health Asia [https://twitter.com/#..., so I hope this has been a great trip for you both!

Back to our regular Show & Tell next month, so I am looking for speakers! If you have a tracking project that you'd like to share, let me know - the group wants to hear from you!

Till next time, have a great weekend,
Ciaran
