This choir is no longer running. I have joined another choir as a bass, and it is looking for new singers, in particular men with strong bass and tenor voices. Whoever you are and however well you think you can sing, you are warmly welcomed to Singing in the City. We sing songs from all around the world in 3 and 4 part harmony. From beginners to experienced singers, we will have one thing in common – a love of singing. I want to foster musicianship and friendship. It is fun to sing if we strive to do it well, support each other and don't take it too seriously!
• We don’t audition.
• You don't need to read sheet music - everything is learned by listening and repeating (scores are usually available for those who prefer them)
• You won't be asked to sing on your own \
I am one of Berlin's many immigrants from the UK! I left a wonderful choir in London, also called Singing in the City, and missed it terribly when I moved here. We put on a concert three times a year, and we sing at other events regularly. We always welcome new members, unless we're preparing for a performance. Your first rehearsal is free to try it out!
