I really like most any beer - and I'm an admitted hophead. Love IPAs, but I also love dark beers, and almost anything in between...except...(boy, I'm going to get shunned for this) Belgian beers. Not a fan. Sometimes they work for me, many times they don't.
My favorite place is the Pub at Pipers Creek. It's walking distance from me (a key trait) and it's a borderline dive bar (even a keyer trait) and they have an amazing, ever-changing beer selection (keyest). I also like the Hopvine/Latona/Fiddler's triumvirate quite a bit. Naked City, Uber, Duck Island, Brouwers, Beveridge Place Pub, are also favorites.
I've been homebrewing off and on for about 5 years. I've had some successes and some complete failures. Either way, I love the hobby. Collections? Well, when I first got into going to breweries, I started collecting growlers. However, I have stopped and if you plan to move ever again, I don't suggest you do this. Those things take up so much space and a LOT of boxes.
Born and spent most of my life in California. I've generally worked in non-profit law offices, and now I'm an Office Manager at a Social Security Disability law firm - doing a bit of everything at the office. I love cooking, baking bread, bicycling, and reading.
I've lived in Seattle for 10 years. I'm looking to meet new people who have similar beery interests.
