We’ll hike with crampons on the largest glacier in Europe. We’ll see spectacular ice formations, deep sink holes and rugged ice crevasses.

We’ll take a super jeep safari up to the fimmvorduhals volcanoes. This is the site of the first of two volcanic eruptions in 2010. During the hike you will not only be able to touch the new lava, see the brand new craters, mountains and the now cooling lava falls but also enjoy vast sweeping views of one of the most beautiful highland nature in all of Iceland. Get up close and personal to icebergs as we explore glacier bay in one of the strange looking amphibian boats.

We will snorkel (with dry suits on) down between the center of the earth, literally. This is where the American and Eurasian Plates are separating. We will then go and see the geysers and Gullfoss Falls. Before we leave we will also enjoy the Blue Lagoon, a natural hot spring.
