Single Parent Support & Resources in Portland

Are you a single parent who would like to have a single location for helpful and fun activities, resources, and information that is pertinent to YOUR life as a single parent? I am starting this group because there are lots of resources out there, but sometimes hard to find the ones that apply to us as single moms and dads, and we just don't have the time to go hunting for them.

At our meetups we will be involved with simple fun events, but you will also have the opportunity to attend more educational activities, such as workshops and seminars. You will learn everything from innovative parenting, to cooking, to financial planning, to career and lifestyle planning. This is meant to be a hub for single parents to live fully and have fun while doing it. If you have any ideas they are welcome!

This is about being a parent, but also being an individual person. It's the oxygen mask in the airplane cliche. How can we take good care of our kids if we haven't taken care of ourselves?

This group is intended for single parents interested in learning and utilizing the Portland area resources designed just for us.

Basically, this group is designed to make life easier! I will be updating it regularly with workshops, events, and other interesting activities that apply to our lives as busy, good parents (and individuals).
