Monthly Seaside Bar-b-que and fun in Waikiki Beach, behind Army Museum

  • Hawaii Army Museum Society

2131 Kalia Road, Honolulu, HI (map)

    21.278913 -157.833755

  • Lets decide on a 'group color' and meet under the picnic/grille pavilions - directly BEHIND Army Museum (sea side), near the racket ball courts.
  • Single Social Parents,

IT'S OFFICIAL!   This location behind the Hawaii Army Museum is 'slammin' and a repeat visit (many?) was inevitable!!  Plan to have loads of fun, some good food, and boarding/swimming in a very 'family friendly' area on one of the Worlds most famous beaches!!

    See pics here: http://www.meetup.com/Single-Parents-Social-Club/photos/16008712/

As before, we'll be sharing the beach with folks from Pacific Soul Surfing (PSS)...

    2055 Kalia Road

    Honolulu, HI 96815 [ (808)[masked] ]

Discounted rides/lessons from PSS may be available on an early-come-only-served basis!

Bring something to throw on the grille(s) and lots of hydration and sun-block...  you won't be disappointed!!

Parking:   Somewhat 'at your own risk' with this being Waikiki and year-round tourisim.  Please plan accordingly... However, the lot across from the Army Museum will allow anyone to park, but discounts only apply with validation from the Hale Koa (military) hotel nearby.

    See you there!

    Mahalo,

    Jon

Looks like we will not make it afterall. Our gardening program moved up a Sunday activity to this week. Sorry, I was looking forward to meeting all you young moms and your little ones. I suggest that you guys coordinate how you will find eachother (wear a certain color shirt or hat) and plan a picnic together instead of BBQ.

Since people seemed to all come closer to 2pm last time, I thought it would be easier if it was a little later. If that is a problem, let me know.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
