Single Parent? Come and meet others in the same position ! We arrange events all around the country - anything from a picnic in the park to a week by the sea, all with children (no need for babysitters).
Our members come from all walks of life and all ages, the one thing they have in common is the fact we're all Single Parents and understand the challenges that brings. NOT that we wallow in that of course, but instead look to rebuild our social lives and HAVE FUN ! Yes, there IS life after divorce or bereavement.
This group is an off-shoot from our website, http://www.SingleWithKids.co.uk - a group set up nearly 2 years ago and which has now grown to be the UK's largest social and holiday club for single parents and their children. Please do check out the site for the FULL range of events in your area, we've thousands of members.
Our trips cover all tastes and budgets - we have everything from camping weekends or bunk barns (£12 a night for our Christmas trip!) through to luxury overseas villas. Group sizes vary from 16 adults and children through to nearly 400 on our biggest events - plenty of opportunity to make new friends !
DO CHECK OUT OUR PHOTO ALBUM ON HERE for pictures of our previous events.
It can be nerve-wracking making the move and coming to your first meet, why not meet a few of us online first at our very active forum? Great for those evenings when kids are in bed and the TV's rot....http://www.singlewithkids.co.uk/forum/index.php![]()
If you've any questions please don't hesitate to drop me a line.
Hope to see you soon?
