Single? Let's Mingle!

We are a group of singles (mostly in our mid 20's - mid 50's) in the Twin Cities area that meet and enjoy fun events together. These events provide an opportunity to mingle with other singles in a non-threatening environment. This group is NOT a dating site. Of course, that doesn't mean you won't find dates through this group. All we ask is that you look at the group and our events from a broader perspective.

It's FREE to join our group, however, there are fees associated with most events. We will have a donation jar at some of our events to attempt to collect money to help pay for the meetup site/event fees. This donation is voluntary but much appreciated. We also try to negotiate discounts and we're always open to learning about free and/or discounted activities. Some of our past events include comedy shows, bowling, concerts, theater nights, kayaking, skiing/snowboarding, BBQs/picnics, badminton games, rock climbing, and dining out at ethnic restaurants. If you have an idea for hosting an event or you hear of an event you'd like to attend, send an email. Suggestions are always welcome!

For those of you who attend at least 3 events per month, we would like to invite you to give us two services/talents/items for sale that we could post in our monthly newsletter (pls submit before the 15th of every month). Our hopes are to: (1) increase member attendance/consistency at our events; (2) network with each other (which is valuable in this economy) AND; (3) give you a venue to advertise within our meetup group. Our end goal is to create a listing of these services for you to access.

About RSVP's - if you RSVP as a "yes" and consistently do not contact the organizer/host when you cannot make it to the event (ie you are a "regular" no show), you will be terminated from this group. Please be respectful and let us know if you cannot make an event and/or change your RSVP to a no. Also, if you are a member but have not attended an event in the past 2 months, you will be removed from the group. You may always re-join with the hopeful desire to actually join us for events. Thank you.
