Welcome to a mind-expanding afternoon about the dramatic developments and spectacular opportunities in synthetic biology (aka SynBio).

If you are not familiar with the term, SynBio is a technology at the crossroads of IT and biology which is about the human capability to modify and control the very code that makes up biological beings. With SynBio tools we can artificially design and engineer biological systems and living organisms - with profound implications for medicine, food production, material sciences and a range of other fields.

We have the honor to welcome two outstanding speakers from the Singularity University Alumni community who will give a frontline update from their respective vantage points into this world transforming domain.
