New info: There is no "group discount" but if we sign up 20+ individuals we receive a T-shirt with our TEAM NAME on it! Wake up to the Challenge!

On September 29, 2012 the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego will host the 10th Annual BootCamp Challenge, a 3-mile obstacle run. This unique race features obstacles used only by Marine Recruits, plus over 60 USMC Drill Instructors "staff" the course providing direction and encouragement for participants. Schedule: The race will begin at 0900 in 5-minute waves, starting with the elite division, then individual men, individual women, 3-person teams, then 5-person teams. Day of race registration and t-shirt pick-up opens at 0630. Great post-race party with plenty of music, food, drinks and beer! official race t-shirts to all entrants. A very memorable day!

Award Categories:
-Top three finishers in Elite division
-Top three finishers in each of the 15 age group categories
-Top three finishers in each of the 7 three-person team categories
-Top three finishers in each of the 7 five-person team categories

The Course:

3-mile obstacle course on paved roads and hard-packed dirt - flat and fast. Over 50 obstacles to complete, including hay jumps, tunnel crawls, trenches, cargo netting and push-up stations. Registration:

Online Registration closes at 11:55 PM PST on Tuesday, 25 September 2012. Day-of Registration will be available starting at 0630 at race venue. Prices will increase to $45/Individual; $135/3-person team; $225/5-person team.

In order to receive your packets in the mail, you or your team must register by Monday, 03 September 2012. The packet includes your race numbers and course information. Note: Team captains will be mailed all bibs and information for the entire team if all members sign the waivers by 03 September. Otherwise, a waiver will be sent to the captain for all members to sign.

Team captains are responsible for: making sure all team members sign a waiver, handing out the race numbers for your team, finding your team members on race morning and making any substitutions necessary for the team. Please make sure you want to be a team captain before you register!
