The Fees:

There is no fee to attend, but in exchange for the private meeting room we are expected to make food and drink purchases. When you pay, please tell the barista that you are with our Meetup group so that your purchases can be tracked.

It was good. (the day that preceded it, less good. But this is the dance. Gotta write even on bad days)

    Hi all,

Since the temperature is predicted to reach 106 tomorrow, I thought I would send out a warning / reminder regarding "The Cellar" at Genuine Joe.

Due to the soaring temperatures and the westward facing windows in "The Cellar," Tuesday night Meetups are likely to be on the warm side for the remainder of the summer.

"The Cellar" has an AC window unit, but it can only cool the room off so much when the temperatures climb over 100 degrees.

Most of us just dress appropriately and aren't troubled by the situation, but I wanted to issue a warning/reminder so that nobody would be surprised or frustrated by the situation.

Writers are welcome to come and sit in the *common area* where it will be a bit cooler. If you do this, just check in with me so I can mark your attendance.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me.
