It's time for some awesome-August-end-of-summer Sketchnoting!
This evening event is structured time for learning, exploring and improving our sketchnote practice.
This session, we'll focus on making a great sketchnote: we're turning the session upside down!
We'll start with a very brief intro and examples, and a superfast warm-up. Then jump immediately into sketchnoting a TED talk (about 8-12 minutes.)
We'll pair up to do pair critique and you'll create a list of improvements you'd like to make to enhance the clarity, content and expressiveness of the sketchnote.
Then we'll hear the talk again, making a new capture to focus on areas you'd like to improve.
The goal is to have three iterations and to leave the session with a sketchnote you feel really great about, and that shows immediate improvement from the first raw capture.
(Note: If you're brand-new to sketchnoting, you may want to explore the visual practice on your own first, so that you have a general sense of the practice.)
If you're a beginner, this is a great way to get started. And if you're an expert, it's a fun time to practice and share with others. All skill levels welcome!
